Human Prudence Or The Art By Which A Man And A Woman May Be Advanced To Fortune, To Permanent Honor And To Real Grandeur by Herman Mann. Mrs Deborah Gannett (1760-1827) - known as Deborah Sampson, one of the only women to fight in the Revolutionary War - was a subscriber to this book on Human Prudence. A very interesting read that apparently needed lots of corrections, translations, and additions because it was an English book that was to be used in schools and needed changes to fit American schools.

Leather boards are still in very good shape, foxing on pages.
