This is a set of five small Swedish local newspapers or magazines called 'Norrlands Tidningar' from 1838 that were found in New Hampshire. Norrlands Tidningar was in publication from 1835 to 1844 and was a regional newspaper.

'Norrland' comprises the historical provinces of Gästrikland, Medelpad, Ångermanland, Hälsingland, Jämtland, Härjedalen, Västerbotten, Norrbotten and Lappland which is roughly 59 percent of Sweden's total area. It is not heavily populated and was the large northern portion of Sweden.

These newspapers were probably ordered and read by Swedish immigrants that settled in the New England area and wanted news from home. They all have their red Swedish postmarks with the crown in the middle on their front pages and each one is complete.
