This document from the Secretary of the Interior's Department of Indian Affairs to the Ways and Means Committee of the 36th Congress of the United States is to report to the committee 'Certain items in the estimates of appropriations for the Indian service in Utah Territory. 

Some of the 'appropriations' are to pay for "Provisions for Indians not on farms and while visiting superintendent", "Implements, stock, farming, agents, clothing for working Indians, building, and smithing.", and "surveying and mapping four farms and reservations".  The farms were apparently "already under operation" with the Indians as laborers.
