This is an original hand written concert program in support of the Merchant Seaman's Orphan Asylum. What makes this an interesting piece of history is the Mesaba's link to the Titanic. The SS Mesaba was the first to warn the Titantic of the ice that was to destroy the ship and kill over 1000 people. This concert was held on-board the SS Mesaba that was a passenger/cargo steam ship. The program was very patriotic for both the American and British people who attended the concert. It is a beautiful program that has the ship's letterhead on it.
