1700's Lebanon, Pennsylvania Bill for Church Carpentry
A neat and interesting bill for carpentry work done on a church in Lebanon, PA. It is - I think - in Dutch and is for the work done by either two brothers or a father and son. It is pre-Revolutionary War because the sums are in British pounds and not in American dollars. It looks like some of their fee was paid to them in gold.
It would be wonderful sitting on an early desk or writing box with a small quill pen on top of it or rolled up and placed in the cubby of an early fall-front or slant-top desk.
